Keen to build confidence, sharpen your communication skills, or give something new a go? Senior students across Te Tai Tokerau are invited to enter the 2026 Lions New Zealand Young Speechmaker Contest – a free public speaking competition designed to support youth development and real‑world skills.
This regional heat is hosted in Whangārei and is open to all students aged 16–21 years (as of 15 November 2026). You don’t need any public speaking experience to take part.
