Hikurangi Ramblers Softball Club

Hikurangi Ramblers Softball Club welcomes players of all ages and experience levels. The club offers senior women’s and senior men’s teams, with junior grades developing through local tournaments in Whangarei. Training is held at the Hikurangi Rugby Club grounds.

The Ramblers are known for their strong family atmosphere, black and red colours, and a supportive club culture built around teamwork, fitness and fun. New players, returning members and whānau are always welcome to come along, meet the team and give softball a go.

The club also encourages community involvement in off‑field roles including coaching, managing, scoring and umpiring. Anyone keen to support local sport is invited to connect with the Ramblers and be part of the wider club whānau.

Training: Thursdays, 5.30pm to 7pm
Location: Hikurangi Rugby Club grounds
Season: Summer softball season runs annually, with musters held each spring
Teams: Senior women, senior men, developing junior grades
